    Question G.Skill in Gigabyte Ep43-DS3R

    Hello
    I have a Gigabyte motherboard EP43-DS3R (with the latest drivers and bios version F8) can tell me how to properly configure a kit of 4gb G. Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK (2x2gb) CL 5-5-5-15 2.0-2.1 v in the bios thank you very much .......

    Strike, there are many posts here with BIOS templates very similar to yours. If you spend a bit of time looking around, you'll find some good pointers for how to get your settings right.

    The programme Everest my ram G.skill said DDR2 800? Why?

    Are you stable on those settings?

    Yes but The programme Everest my ram G.skill said DDR2 800? Why? Note in windows for the ram is 5.6 and 5.9 have a friend why? TOC and feel that are hot

    DDR2 1066 ram is really 800 and HAS to be manually set to 1066. All 1066 ram is this way.

    And just so you are clear on how everest works, what you have above is the SPD Programmed JEDEC settings, not what you are currently running. This image shows the Everest page where you would see current ram speeds >>>>

    In these values:
    (G) MCH Frequency Latch
    If you put 400 gives me 2.00 or 2.66 in Memory System Multiplier and not just 1066 only with Auto in System Memory Multiplier but the system does not started, I leave at:
    (G) MCH Frequency Latch ...............: 400
    System Memory Multiplier ..........Auto ..... ..... or

    (G) MCH Frequency Latch ...............: 266
    System Memory Multiplier ........ 400

    These memories much heat? the play and are hot between 35 ° to 40 ° C.
