This board is very picky with timings.

I would try to relax timings and make sure that the memory is getting the correct amount of voltage. FYI, 1.8V does not cut it for higher speed DDR2 modules. If you do not know much much voltage the memory needs at its rated speed/timings. There should be sticker or something on the module itself.

The only odd issue with EP45-DS4P is that just keeps resetting itself for any memory problems. Instead of the more typical beeping code (single beep, repeats every second or so) for memory problems.

Currently using a 2GB stick in slot 1 of the MOBO which had 4 passes in memtest with zero errors.

Looks good, you can bring down trd (Static tRead Value) and trfc as well, and likely trrd and MCH voltage with only that one 2gb stick

Motherboard was U/S? What is that mean, no good? Did you get another or what did you do?

Yeh mate took it back to place of purchase, they swapped ram, GPU etc but still had the resets. They then changed the Mobo and had no resets for over an hour and was able to run all programs etc. Since getting it home it has run no probs at all for over 3 hours now. Same version of MOBO etc i must have just gotten a dud. Maybe i could look at adjusting some settings after a few days of hard working what do u think.

    Ahh, well it happens!

Glad to see you easily got a replacement board!

Yeap, get all setup and then start working on settings. I think I am going to install My P45-DSP here in a few
