Hey mate, was just wondering do you have a recommended list of settings for my new EP45/DS4P board with 2x2GB OCZ 1066 ram. The new board is alot more stable then the old one and only had a few crashes the last week(whish im assuming is just a settings stability problem), the board is running F2 bios and im running a HD4870x2 with 8.9 cat drivers. Cheers mate appreciate your help as always.

Looks good! Now when you have some tweaking time you can start trying to tweak your ram for best performance

I would test these ranges >>>
(G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: [333] <<< try 400, but make ONLY this change by itself then save and apply. If it boots you can continue your testing and lowering things.

    System Memory Multiplier ..............: 3.20
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1066
    DRAM Timing Selectable ................: [Manual]

    Standard Timing Control
    CAS Latency Time........................5
    tRCD .........................................5
    tRP'...........................................5
    tRAS..........................................12/15

    Advanced Timing Control
    tRRD...........................................3-4
    tWTR..........................................3-6
    tWR............................................4-8
    tRFC...........................................48-54
    tRTP...........................................2-6
    Command Rate (CMD) ....................:2

    Channel A & B
    Static tRead Value.........................:7-8

You can also set Driving Strength Profile to 1066 or above

Glad to see you are moving right along and had no issues with your flash. It really isnt scary, just so many users over the years have done things incorrectly it puts the scare out there..... Ya know. And yes things can randomly go wrong, but not too often

Hey mate have made the following changes

G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: 400, booted ok so kept tweaking like you said.

System Memory Multiplier ..............: 3.20 (this in the only thing i havent touched as i cant seem to be able to choose 3.20. The only options i have are Auto, 2.00D, 2.66D, 3.33D).
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1066
    DRAM Timing Selectable ................: [Manual]

    Standard Timing Control
    CAS Latency Time........................5
    tRCD .........................................5
    tRP'...........................................5
    tRAS..........................................12/15

    Advanced Timing Control
    tRRD...........................................4
    tWTR..........................................6
    tWR............................................8
    tRFC...........................................54
    tRTP...........................................6
    Command Rate (CMD) ....................:2

    Channel A & B
    Static tRead Value.........................:8

Set Driving Strength Profile to 1066.

    Choose 3.33D then.

I use Everest Ultimate to bechmark things, another good one is SiSandra

Changed to 3.33D and had some issues with the computer not starting. Eventually it started but I assume after so many resets trying to post it would reset the BIOS to default.

Well at 3.33 you may have had the ram timings to tight. If you want to use 3.33 you will need to drop FSB a little but so the ram is not so fast. Or go back to 333 MCH and then up FSB and you can use 3.2.

There is Many ways you could do things here
