    Seems ok now mate, everything is as was and have had no probs restarting. Current settings are

    Its going good mate CPU is sitting round 34'C when at heavy usage and 24"C idle and the system is round 42'C at load and 32'C idle. Had no issues with resetting etc also.

    Great to hear it! Now save that BIOS as a Profile with F11 on the Main screen and name it X.Ghz Overclock stable. And then you can go start to lower timings to see which you can lower for better performance. Lower one setting and come back out to the MAIN BIOS page and again hiot F11 to save, this one name working overclock.

    Then you can switch between them anytime, F12 is load on the MAIN Screen. Be sure when you are saving, that you arrow down to the correct profile so you dont overwrite your stable one

    Hey cheers mate, any suggestions on what to lower and how much to start with, sorta haven't O/C much before so any suggestions are welcome.

    You said lower right? Tweak what you have I take it, Just sounds funny that way cause you said overclock in the same sentence. Keep in mind if you do plan to overclock you will want to loosen things up, not tweak them first

    Well, for starters you can test lowering your voltages. Even the CPU can be lowered from stock most of the time if you do not plan to go any higher.

    As for the rest, you can try Lowering the ram voltage a bit at a time first. Maybe 1.95-2.0 will work. Sometimes even less, maybe not so much less at 1066 speeds, but the lower and stable the better

    Then MCH can possibly come down a bit, if you do start to have failures quickly when you tighten the timings you may want to do the voltages after you tighten timings

    Here is what may work as for as those go. Change only one at a time, testing between each move otherwise you wont know what is causing your errors >>>

    tRRD...........................................4 << 2 May work but may cause Instability, 3 should work ok

    tWTR..........................................6 << Maybe down to 3-5
    tWR............................................8 << Maybe down to 4-6
    tRFC...........................................54 << Maybe 46-50
    tRTP...........................................6 << 2 (Same as above 2) 3-5

    Hey mate yeh sorry i meant to tighten everything up, wouldnt mind getting it stable as to use as a really stable bios setting which it currently is. Would u have a few settings in mind for a 24/7 safe overclock. Im not even sure what would be a good lvl for o/c with this board but im sure with your genius we could work something out. Also how u enjoying the 45/DS4P board. At the moment im really quite impressed.

    Well what do you mean stable? You are the one who is testing your system so only you can decide/find out

    Are you unstable or what? Safe overclock is anything that is stable, and not too hot

    Pick a spot and I will advise you

    I am loving my P45!!!! Thanks Gigabyte!

    Still have not had much play time with it though, and likely wont until I get this review of it done up
