    Default GB EP45/DS4P Continually Resetting.

    Need some help please, as the title suggests my new build continually keeps resetting itself. It could be after 10sec, 2 mins or even 5mins but then could restart itself over and over. I am yet to get a good 10mins working time out of it. System specs are

    Intel E8500
    Noctua U12-P CPU cooler
    GA EP45/DS4P
    4GB OCZ Platinum Ram(2x2GB sticks) 1066MHZ
    GB 4870x2
    Thermaltake Toughpower 750W PSU

    I havent done anything to the bios and limited changes to the cmos as i rarely get time to do anything before a restart. Thankyou very much for your help.

    Well with 2x2GB you need to manually set somethings. Have you done this? You need to add MCH voltage(set to 1.25-1.3), and manually set the Ram voltages at the very least. I am about to leave, but if you will post me your settings in this template I will help you later today when I get back >>>>

    Also, have you tested the ram, ONE Stick at a time with memtest86+ at stock speed and voltage to be SURE you did not get a DOA set or stick? It happens, please use the latest Memtest86+ >>>

    I have however been connected tonight with 2GB for over 1 hour with no probs, the odd restart but nothing like before. I just put the other 2GB stick in as well and no probs so far(aprox 10mins). They are 5-5-5-15(2.2v).

    Hey mate, applied the settings, its still very hit and miss in regards to stability, after apllying the settings took over 6 restarts to start CPU. Then i got a good 10-20mins i suppose before the restarts happenend again.

    Well 6 reboots means you are back at default. And the settings were incorrect possibly as well.

    Thats my current settings mate, will let you know if i have any problems. had a few issues starting the comp, but i didnt change anything and it started prolly after 1- 1 1/2mins.

    Cant change voltage type but can and have changed CPU Vcore as u suggested.

    So when you change vcore it still says normal above it? If so that is strange!

    Once you get going a bit, you can likely for sure bring down a few of those settings.
