    Colors from your pic:
    BLUE ... motherboard / NB[Temp1] ... same as my Temp1. I refer to it as the case temp. It begins a cold session at ambient temperature and increases over time by only by a few degrees, never spikes with a load.

    RED ... CPU / CPU[Temp2] ... same as my Temp3. That's the one I refer to as the PWM. It spikes with a load, and is generally a few degrees warmer than Core0/Core1.

    CYAN ... Core0/Core1 ... same as my Core0/Core1. They spikes with a load, work independently, and are generally a few degrees cooler than Temp3.

    ORANGE ... Ghost ... same as my Temp2. It seems locked at 25f(-4c), and I've unchecked it from the front display.

    I also display the SMART temps for HD0 and HD1.

    I just assumed that my Temp3 (your Temp2) is PWM. Mine is only designated by SpeedFan as Temp3, not as PWM or as CPU. It derives from the IT8718F chip. It seems to react like the PWM sensors I'd seen on old 478 boards, but maybe I was wrong then, too. I don't understand why it would be named "CPU", since each core already has its own sensor, unless it's just referring to the CPU power circuit (Pulse Width Modulator, eh?).

    Yeah, having a slightly higher effective core voltage than the BIOS setting is odd. It's like a negative drop, before the droop. But it has been consistent, so it's perfectly workable. My F4 BIOS was installed several weeks ago by Gigabyte, when I RMA'd this board for a corrupt @BIOS event. I've got no complaints. I can't seem to get it stable above 390FSB, but that can wait for another day.

    There is 3 sensors (DTS - Digital Temp Sensor) inside your CPU and all 3 give a different Output as you can see in my everest comparison.

    So your Temp 2, that spikes with a load and is generally a few above the core temps is the actual CPU temp. So from what you say and what I know I believe I was correct and you have just confused this temp with your past boards sensor outputs, P35 does not show PWM/Mosfet temps.

    Well at least you are aware of your voltage difference in the BIOS. I do see a beta BIOS available for your board, but depending on what caused you to RMA (@BIOS?) you may not want to flash to it. If you do decide to flash, please read the BIOS Flashing guide I pinned in this section

    3DMark01 is at the 25.4k level, and 3DMark03 is at the 9.4k level.
    This setup keeps below the BIOS 70c temperature alarm.

    oops ... it just failed Orthos Blend after 7hr-41min ... was hoping for 8hrs.
    Probably should have left the MCH at +0.2v ... will try again.

    nope ... now it's getting Test#5 errors even with +0.2v MCH ... not done yet, ha.

    You should either raise static Tread, or raise your Ram voltage. Either way 5 may be too low to use at those ram speeds, and could be your only issue I see

    OK. Thanks. It's still looping Test#5, and only erred in pass 9 of 43 passes, so it's real close. I'll let it keep running until it errs again. I don't want to raise the RAM voltage any higher, so I'll need to tweak the subtimings some more.

    Just erred again in pass 51 ... reboot

    Changed tRD=6, and keeping MCH=+0.2v ... looping Test#5

    Ya, that is alot of passes! Sounds like you are almost spot on. tRD of 6 will likely solve it for you

    1123ddr2:
    tRD=5 erred at pass 9 and 51
    tRD=6 erred at pass 10 and 49
    Otherwise, both configs were identical, and used MCH=+0.2v.
    Not done yet, but I think that eliminates one element.

    Reverted from 3.333 (1123ddr2) to 3.2 (1078ddr2) memory ratio.

    Try less MCH, you are using 2x1 as per your sig right? If so +0.1 may be all that is needed, or due to your ram maybe tRD of 7 will be needed

    Yeah, I had only used +0.2 MCH at 1150ddr2 and higher, so that can probably come down again to +0.1v. I thought of tRD=7, but I figured that's giving up a lot of performance. I'm pretty sure that 1078/5 is gold. If that proves true, I'll compare its benchmarks with 1123/7.

    1078/5 looped Test#5 for just under 1hr with zero errors (56 passes).

    I'd previously tested 344-38-25a up to 1083, but it will go no higher.
    I may be able to loosen 1123/5 enough to pass Test#5 and still beat 19.500s.
    But 1123/6 and 1123/7 (even if they could pass Test#5) don't beat 1078/5.

    The significance of 3033 (9x337) at 1.4125v is that it doesn't exceed the BIOS 70c temperature alarm while running Orthos Blend.

    The system rebooted while I was away. I know it ran Orthos for over 5 hours before I left. I don't want to raise the core voltage, so I've decreased the FSB by one mHz to 9x336, and am running Orthos again.

    It rebooted itself again, this time after 12hrs-34mins per system info.

    It passes 10 trials of the IntelBurnTest in just under 30minutes. It runs 2c-3c cooler than in Orthos Blend, but our recent climate fluxuation can attribute for at least part of the ambient change. Also passes 20 trials of IBT at 3033 (9x337) 1123ddr 555-15-346-42-35a.

    trd of 7 vs 6 is not so much loss, other settings will compensate as you tweak them
