There is a few Au dealers that sell the specific ones for Ga boards, do you need some links?

I guess this would also depend on where you live. Au is the only place I have found the exact cables, all of them

You can get Gigabyte to ship you some, have you contacted them?

Hi
Is there a way to purchase the 12CF1-1LP001-01R,
LPT port bracket from Gigabyte locally in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />US?
Perhaps you could please forward contact info to me, for your counterpart in the US? Thank you in advance!

I've searched all the online retailers over here and cannot find it.
Found a few generics, but I understand the MB Header's Pin-Out is different than standard. I see Nadia, the Gigabyte Support Tech on the UK forum has sold several to folks there.
Thanks again! Cheers!

John

I am not sure if they could sell you any or not, you would need to contact them and ask.

You could call them and ask, here is that info
GIGABYTE

If you do not get the answer you are looking for let me know and I will email my contact in the US Office and have him either let me know who you should contact or I will have him send you an email.

I thought they would take care of ya!

Gigabyte employees seems to all be very nice from what I know, and are always willing to go the extra mile for a customer.

Thanks for posting back to let us know

It just seem s strange that Gigabyte include the hardware on the board for LPT and Serial ports but don't bother including the back plates. They're ever so keen to give you an E-SATA backplate (which I guarantee I'll never use, now that power over E-SATA ports are here). That makes the Non power over E-SATA just as "obselete" or legacy as an LPT port IMO.

Well it is likely because not many people use them. Same applies to the SATA Brackets, but at least they do include those.

Yes, it's a little bit understandable I suppose. And it keeps the cost of the board down a bit. Not sure how much the back plates cost, less than $3 I'd say, but every little helps.
