    Default Very wierd OC problem

I was just trying to OC my E6550 on P35-DS4 and for some very wierd reason, whenever i increase the FSB by even 10mhz, im experiencing very slow gaming speed compared to stock speed!

voltages are all set on manual. another wierd thing about auto voltage settings was it dangerously increased ALL my cruicial component voltages, i.e

CPU way upto 1.4V!! and RAM to 2.1V!!.
this same problem is evident even when i up the FSB from 333 upto 360.
    same slow speeds.

    what could be happening? :S

    That does sound weird.

What brand and speed of memory do you have in there??

Have you tested your memory at all?

When you rebooot after making all your oc setting what happens? Does it reboot itself 2, 3 or more times??

Sounds like at least one compenent is failing miserably.

The more info you can provide the more help you might get. You 'll probably get a vague diagnosis at best with what you've said so far.

    Good luck.

Maybe the PSU? Have yu tested this ram as said above, one stick at a time with memtest86+? Must be newest 2.01 version for P35 boards >>>
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Legacy USB Storage Detect Disabled in the Integrated Peripheral page?

Do you have your ram Voltage set manually? If not for sure start by doing that.

Then please post me your full settings you are trying when you overclock >>>>
