    Default help with GA-EP43-DS3L and e2180

    this is my first post , can someone help me with the OC on my new board, i use to have a ASUS P5B Deluxe, and now i bought the GA-EP43-DS3L, so i dont now how to overclock this board, i`m not sure of the voltages or settings.

    can some help me please.


    in the asus P5B deluxe i get 3500mhz on my e2180 350mhz*10x

    Please post your full system specs and I can better advise you. And A link to your Ram would be great as well.

    You want to run at 3.5 then right? If so please also tell me the vcore you used in your old board too.

    If you want, fill this in as well with what you have so far and I will post it back for you soon as you give me more info about your system >>>

    Ya, that CPU needs alot of volts, and 1.5 in the BIOS is onl,y about 1.44 or so in windows

    Post me a ram link And I can better advise ram volts and speed/timings

    Ok, try these settings for now for 3.5, then later I can help you try for 3.6 if your temps are ok. But 3.4 or 3.5 may be the best place to run your CPU if 3.5/3.6 is hot. I do see most people have to use 1.45-1.5 Actual for 3.3-3.5, so 3.6 may be too much to ask out of your CPU (Have you seen the B.S.E.L Pin mod? You might want to do that) >>>>

    Also that ram may not run very stable at 100Mhz, so you may want to keep it under that, tighter timings like 444-12 at 800-850, 555-15 at 850-900/950


    Using the 10 Multi for 3.5 with ram at 444-12 @ 840Mhz
