    Default Overclocking P35-DS4 Rv2.1 Q9450@3.8-4ghz stable

    hi ive been messing around for a while now with this comp with the following specs and in case your wondering yes i know how to OC and what im doing i just need some guidelines what you would recommend to have this bad boy OC to 3.8-4ghz i can get this about 3.4-3.5 stable without changing to much and could get my e6750 to 4ghz np im just not sure on volts and stuff for this without frying anything because 45nm is dumb when it comes to volts and how much u neeed =0

    PS im running the GA-P35-DS4 F14a beta bios if i should be on like F11,F12,or F13 for best OC let me know too thanksssss!

    It will probably be best to use a NON beta for overclocking, but only you can decide if the Beta is causing errors vs a non beta.

    Post me your settings where you are, and I will advise what you should increase. But I kinda think you may not get 3.8-4Ghz stable with that cooler >>>>

    quite honestly, i dont think you'll be able to get a q9450 to anything beyond 3.8GHz on a P35 board. I'll recommend some settings anyway, but unless you've got some really mean cooling (which I've gotta say, that's not really... If you want a recommendation, the Noctua NH-U12P or the Tuniq Core Contact Freezer are great options) and an icy climate, i dont think you'll be able to get that board stable much past 460MHz FSB.
