    1.1 is default, so I would think that would be fine for 2x1

    Please post the full settings you try So I can see everything

    Ok tried the above and no luck. It seems the lower voltages are more stable..

    MCH Voltage is most stable at 1.0, at 1.1 it's less stable at 1.2 it won't POST.

    DRAM Voltage at 2.0 won't post, will post at 1.9.

    With the above settings and MCH at 1.0 and DRAM Voltage at 1.9 it gets about 50-60 seconds through a memtest before freezing.

    MCH 1.1 and DRAM 1.9 got 8-12 seconds through before freezing.

    I also had better luck when reducing MCH voltage - in my case from 1.1v to 1.05v with 2x2gb of Corsair 1066. Not sure at the moment what the actual voltage is, but I am referring to the setting in the bios.

    What exactly did you try that failed? And have you tested these sticks one by one on another system to be sure you do not have a DOA stick in the mix?

    I've put both Mushkins into my wife's machine (ASUS motherboard) and ran a memtest on them for a complete set of tests which they passed successfully (about 30 minutes), she has been playing World of Warcraft fine with them in for the past hour too. So I think we can rule out the memory as the issue.

    I've got the gigabyte machine stable with a single 1GB mushkin, I just can't get it stable with both sticks in dual channel.

    I tried both sticks in with the following settings that you suggested:

    Ya, that is not enough voltages if why you are having issues. You need to get the higher voltages I suggested to boot and be stable.... So maybe AUTO for MCH will work better, see below

    You are using the latest Memtes86+ right? 2.01 >>>

    Older version will always error out on P35/45

    Have you tried the ram in slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3? Maybe you have a bad slot?

    Anyway, try this again with both. This is much looser and should for sure boot >>>>

    Just a quick reply (I won't have a chance to test this for another couple of hours):

    I'm using memtest 2.01 (downloaded when I started testing earlier this week). One thing I did notice though when I ran the memtest on my wife's PC it filled in the Chipset data. When I run it on the Gigabyte P43 it doesn't display anything for the Chipset. Is that expected?

    With the settings you suggested, sticks in DIMM1 & DIMM 3: It POSTs, but hung 1 second into memtest. (see pic below)

    with the same settings, sticks in DIMM2 & DIMM 4: It POSTs, but hung at 17 seconds into memtest.

    PC Health showed DRAM Voltage at 1.904v (when set to 1.9V)

    The only voltage in PC Health that wasn't just above what it was supposed to be was +3.3 which was at 3.296V

    CPU PLL didn't have a 1.5V setting only 1.55 (which is the default, I manually set that to 1.55V).
