    I agree with VorLonUK. That 1gb stick sounds like it's using high-density modules, making it single-sided (SS). There's a good chance that a 1gb low-density double-sided (DS) stick would add the full amount to the existing 2x512mb pair, resulting in 2gb total. That's a common problem going waay back, and is the reason why low-density dimms are more expensive. hth

    c Thanks guys for all your replys and help. I will be going out and buying another 1gb stick seems the only way to get up to 2gb.

    Seems the board can take 3 x Single Sided Dimms, but only 2 x Double Sided Dimms....
