    Default GA-EP45-DS3L with problems

    Hi all:
Im just built this new computer ,without OC ,latest drivers, and stock cooler.

    GA-EP45-DS3L,Intel Q6700 ,Sapphire HD 3850,Geil Ultra (4-4-4-12, 2,1v) tested Ok,Corsair Vx 450w

Its not stable ; it has slow in games , little blinking in windows , lag at keyboard.

Bios f9 -When i shut down after flashing, It reboot in looping (it didnt appear any image at monitor) untill i turned it off computer-

I´ve made snapshoot with strange values ,anyway temperatures maybe its a bit high ..check it out...

Im becoming crazy... Please help me

Both of those programs do not pick up correct P45 voltage values, you should check with Everest Ultimate. As you know, if they were really that low your PC would not boot.

You likely just need some BIOS adjustments to your ram and voltages to be stable. Your temps are acceptable, what is your core Temp's at Idle and Load? Check with Coretemp

You should reflash, load optimized defaults and save and apply (This is a MUST) and reboot BACK to the BIOS and make any changes needed all over again. DO NOT USE @BIOS. Here is my guide for flashing >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/

Then once you get going again let me know and I will help you with settings. Here is a template for you to give me what you are using.

Please DO flash again so it will be done properly, since you used @BIOS and had a bad flash (luckily your board survived) you likely are still using the old BIOS

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours

I reflashed again (the same way, but no loops at this time) .
The Ambient temperature is about 22º C ; loading and 5 min stressing (Attach pic).

Well temps look acceptable, but maybe a bit warm for no overclock. Are you sure you did not put too much paste, or did you just use the stock "Pre-applied" Paste? You should start saving for a good cooler if you plan to overclock at all, the stock fans are junk for sure

I do see a few things you should change for sure in your settings, I will also give you ranges to tweak your ram. >>>

    Sorry I havent replied before... I tried and feel tired changing mem and cpu values without success , and i dont want do any OC (for now) , so I left Fast Graphics only ;
Turbo memory or standard , im not sure..

I bought Tacens Gelus pro ( i spend 1 day to place on it .. becouse its Huge! ) and i recommend for anyone , I can´t hear it even at maxium revolutions , and remain -13ºc CPU and -2ºc MB (thanks LSD).

Anyway 46º (MB) loading i think its a bit high , isn´t it?
    Voltage values +3,3v(3,23) +12v (11,6) is enough?
Is there any trusted program to test MB ??

    Thanks again ;)

Na, 46 is normal, for sure not high. What is your ambient temp, and do you have good case airflow?

Yes, those voltages are fine. +/- 6 is ok on a PSU Voltage. And those may not be exact anyway as they are obtained by software

Test MB? You mean stability? If so, yes there are many, They are posted in the Overclocking guide and a memory test is posted in the memory guide

Yes, it has good airflow ; ambient temperature about 23º.
I mean any software similar (or professional tool) to PC-check 6.5 included in Hireen´s Boot (anyway all tests there was succesfully ; but to execute any program asked to install -->tshcddrv.sys,udvd,sys etc..etc and sometimes was frozen. )

Sorry for delay, i was changing HD for a new one (Seagate 500 Gb of data died ) and changed graphics card if would be that (Gigabyte HD 4850 ) , but it stills un-playable.

Re-flased Bios to F9 again , and sometimes restart loops (no beep) meanly after Load Optimized settings (displays CPU ratio--> X9) , and saved. (All flashes were-->Ok) as i said .

I have noticed when I am gaming , or minimizing any window , if i approach the hear to the case (open) ; i hear a short sound (like a high frequency interference).

I´ve raised memory voltage to 2,1v (in PC status 2,08v) to 2,2v ( 2,11v) , and another hint.. when i was installing chipset driver ( i´ve reformatted 3 times in 1 month) and this time was an error in data for --> writting delayed.

As you can imagine .. Im so deseperated with this mobo :(

Ya, Hirens will not work with SATA drives.

You will need to set your ram settings again after you load optimized. Performance enhance on Turbo is the for sure first thing that will give you issues.

    How did you drive die?

That is likely your PSU or card making that noise, I cant be sure from here

2.01-2.1 would be fine, the lowest you can have stable is best. What you see on the ram sticker is just warrantied amount.

Do you have the latest Intel Chipset package? If not try this one >>>>

-Is strange ;in my other computer (MSI Am2+ with Sata) loads Hirens without any confirmation .

-Ok. I´ve set up ram to Standard and recomended values (4-4-4-12 ,2.1v) and 2.12v to get 2.11 v real. (better as 2,08). I´ve done this always after Load Opt. Settings ,and loops were less .
If i can rescue a snapshoot when i was saving a bios at Qflash (At 2nd EP45-DS3L) , I´ll post here ; It dispayed like "DM boot master faillure" It was strange , becouse I was able to saved it later.
My HD died after some time Fans (PSU or video i guess) were increassing speed with any reason , so i wanted to restart , when i couldn´t close Lphant , or exit Windows ; therefore i had to switch off the case .
Later i tried to beat softly HD , changing position .. but i can´t access to it (sound as repeating boot in loop). Anyway Im trying to disassemble it if i can fix it

-That noise is PSU or card? Do you means Video card?? ( I´ve tried 2 new ones and different) ; Anyway I´ll try with a new PSU Corsair with unique rail these days.. If that´s not the problem , I´ll have to change MB´s brand ...

Really, what chipset is the MSI?

Ya, I meant video card or PSU maybe making your noise. Sometimes the fan or other parts on either of those can make funny noises even if they are good. Sometimes though it does mean they are bad

Get a PSU with a SINGLE 12V rail that is large, they are better then dual/quad/multiple Rail PSU's
