Default New Memory for my P31-DS3L

I want to get new Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory for my P31-DS3L motherboard, i dont know whether they will work, i read the manual, and i guess they should work, they say up to 4 GB, but does that mean 2 GB in each socket is ok. I want to make sure they will work
    My System Specs are:
    M/B rev:1.x
    Bios ver: F1
    CPU: Intel C2D E6750, 2.66GHz, 1333 FSB
    Thank you in advance

Yes, those will work just fine.

You will need to set Refresh to Act Delay to 52-62, and set MCH voltage to +0.2-0.3. And I would set Ram voltage to +0.1V = 1.9V

For $10 more you would be better off with one of these >>

    Or $10 more w/ $15 rebate

Or these for $3 more >>

But yes, those will work fine. Here is the same type only not "Low-Profile" $4 more >>>

    Thank you so much
But, I am not an overclocker, can I install them and get them to work at 800 MHz without tweaking anything? I honestly don't know how to "to set Refresh to Act Delay to 52-62, and set MCH voltage to +0.2-0.3."
Do I have to do this??

Yes, for sure. Overclocking or not with 4GB (2x2 or 4x1) you need to manually set a few things for sure.

Ya, you will have to do that. It is easy, you will find those settings in the M.I.T. Section of the BIOS. If you need more help when you get your ram I will be around to help you surely. But it is easy to set for sure

If you absolutley do not want to change things in the BIOS you will be best of buying some 2x1GB of ram. Those normally do not need much set in the BIOS.

With 2GB or 4GB though, you are going to have to go in and set your ram voltage
