    I see what you mean about orthos. The system froze after about 15 minutes. Restarting has become an annoying habit. I hope we'll be able to work things out. At least find out if some hardware is faulty.
    So, i'll let memtest through the night, when i'll wake up to go to work i'll see the results and then i'll run orthos until i'll get back from work. That should be 8 hours of memtest and another 8 hours of orthos. You'll hear from me tomorrow again. Thanks again.

    Yeah, you have to have memtest stable ram for sure before using orthos. That way when it errors you know you need to make some other adjustment such as Vcore

    So, let's see what we have. I let memtest run through the night and when i woke up it had counted 12 errors in 20 passes.
    I'm not sure what that means. Should i replace these memories as well?

    it seems u did fail on stock, so it is a ram problem or,(didnt follow the thread so if u tried it ignore it also ignore my first suggestion), try putting the ram in the other slots, if u use slot (1) and (3), use slot (2) and (4).

    the bios settings i used when i run memtest were those i posted. Yes they are the stock timings of the ram. So what you're saying is that i should test each ram separately and see if one of them is faulty, right? What about the other bios settings i have posted?

    I also should tell you that i'm writing from the system mentioned which has been running nonstop all through the day, downloading torrents and right now i'm watching han****. Doesn't seem to have any problem. Weird huh?
    If it was some problem with the ram, shouldn't it have froze or something?

    start with each stick separately but not in the slots u used them, and then try both in dual channel, not in the slots u used, i mean if u used both on yellow slots, try now on the the red.
    and u can never know when the BSoD\freeze will come, but i do find it funny that the coc--k was censored in the name of the movie XD hanco*k xD
    to conclude, play with slots and the sticks to see if it is a ram problem, or the slot's problem(mobo).
    and try tests number 2 and 5 in memtest, for an hour each, and then full if it comes with no errors.

    I found that funny too!
    Ok i will play around with the rams. Should i change any of the bios settings before, or should i let them optimized defaults as they are now?

    i think u should optimized, or use the settings on your sticker(just try both, and what lsd told u to do), cause the ram should work with no problems at stock!
    i think it is VERY weird that it doesnt work at optimized&stock, u dont have alot to configure with 2*1GB, if u try the settings that the manufacturer used(mhz, voltage,timings), u can tell if the ram is faulty(or the slots).
    for an encore,you said you had OCZ, and it failed memtest right? so im having the feeling something is bad with the slots u use.
    anyways im going to sleep, good luck with memtest, i will check if it worked for ya tomorrow, good night.

    Yes, you should test each stick one by one at stock speed, manually set main timings, and manually set ram voltage. Performance ehance on Turbo is also a issue, especially with tRD (Static tRead) on 6. You should set performance enhance to Standard, and trd to 8-12 for now.

    Once you test your sticks, and they are both good I would suggest these settings. And you may want to set a few of them for your single stick tests as well ( tRD, Ram Voltage, and Memory Multi/MCH latch )

You did load optimized and save and apply after you flashed right? If so then it may not be here, kinda wonder though with all the other settings you say are missing below as well. Can you try going to the MAIN page of the BIOS and press Control + F1 and the screen will flash, then go back into MIT and see if you see additional settings or not.
