Default GA EG43M-S2H Suspend to RAM problem

    Hi there,

i have a problem with my board. It is instable after resuming from S3(STR).

    System Specs:
    GA EG43M-S2H Bios F5k
    ADATA PC800 CL5 2GB KIT
    Vista64 - complety patched.
    Nothing overclocked.

I have installed all patches and newest drivers. The system works perfectly the 1st start, but if it resumes, it will show a bluescreen, and every time an other error: Memory Management, IRQ less or equal...the standard things :-)

Really annoying bug, because it is my HTPC, that should use this feature. Other people also have errors with S3, so i tried their suggestions like loading Optimized defaults, saving, but doesn't help. Also rising the MCH doesn't help. I am clueless now. Any help? :-/

You may need to wait for a BIOS update to fix that. It is a BIOS issue

Have you tried manually setting your Ram voltage to spec, and adding a little MCH Voltage?

    That is 2x1GB only right?

You may just have to use S1 until a BIOS is released that fixes it

Well, I did ask you some things that may be the reason why it is not working. Can you answer them please?

I may be able to help you get it stable, and it may not be a BIOS issue at all if you maybe have things in Auto or something incorrectly set

Oh sorry...yes i tried more and less MCH voltage, have set the currect RAM settings manually including voltage. It was better than before, can work for a minute or two after resuming instead of getting an instant blue screen, but still not stable.

Hmm, sounds like it may just be a Setting issue then. If you dont mind, please go ahead and post me your full settings and I will see if I notice anything that may be causing your issue. Do post the ones you are using/you think are most stable >>>

If your BIOS does not offer a setting in this table, just ignore it

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours

Hi. A guy from hardwareluxx.de had a new BIOS F6a for me. With this update the PC is working fine now. Working for 1 hour after resume with no blue screen. Thanks anyway for your help.
