I would suggest these from that list>>>
ALTERNATE. Hardware - Software - Entertainment

Those you have may work at 1066 with 2.2-2.4 Volts, but you would need a fan directly on them for sure.

Try this again for 1066 >>>

Tested but no way, it doesn't works my computer gets rebooted and blocked after applying this new configuration. When I enter on Bios I get the usual overclocking message.

There are somethings that are different on my bios but anyway I changed it and I tested it. I have no options without letters to be chosen as System Memory Multiplier, check it if you feel something is wrong.

    1) DRAM Performance Control
    Performance Enhance...................: [STANDARD]

    (G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: [400]
    System Memory Multiplier ..............: 2.66D
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1072
    DRAM Timing Selectable ................: [Manual]

    2) DRAM Performance Control
    Performance Enhance...................: [STANDARD]

    (G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: [Auto]
    System Memory Multiplier ..............: 2.66D
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1072
    DRAM Timing Selectable ................: [Manual]

    3) DRAM Performance Control
    Performance Enhance...................: [STANDARD]

    (G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: [Auto]
    System Memory Multiplier ..............: 2.66C
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1072
    DRAM Timing Selectable ................: [Manual]

All 3 configurations changes leave the same problem, after applying settings the computer gets blocked on post and is rebooted automatically. After entering the Bios I get again the overclocking message.

Many thanks Lsdmeasap. If finally as it seems these memories are faulty I think I will contact the shop were I bought them and I will try to see if they can change me the Black Dragon for the EVO memories.

I got it!! Just upgraded the bios again to F10 and reconfigure it using your last settings and it works.

Now I have to make a Mem86+ test and Intel Burn Test.

One question about the last settings, is not dangerous to use 1,34 as CPU VCore?

    Thanks for all,
    fulcrum

Nice to see. No 1.34 would be fine, and as you see in CPU-z it is actually 1.216 you are getting so you may actually need to set far more

    Hi again,

Just to let you know that I'm still having memory errors using 1066 with this memories so I have ordered this other memories Mushkin Extreme DDR2 PC2-8500 4GB 2x2GB 5-5-5-15 996599 - Memorias DDR2 1000

I hope now all works correctly. I will try to negotiate with the internet shop where I adquired the Geil Black Dragon memories in order to change it by a Zalman Rheobus and 2 fans that I need also.

Those are Nice rams for sure! You should not have so much issues with those. You may still have a few until you figure out your timings, but no where near the issues you were having that is for sure

Good luck with getting your RMA ram switched for the other parts you need!

Ok, so what timings being conservative/error safe I should use?

    Thanks 4 all Lsdmeasap!

Did you get them yet? You should try things yourself at least for a little bit so you can try to learn.

I will help you if you dont get anywhere for sure though!

I don't have received them yet, I will receive it tomorrow. But ok I understand what you mean and you are right, is always better to learn what you are doing by your self. I just wanted to see if I should use any setting change because of different brand of memories. I mean changing memory voltage to 2,1 , set correct timings, set the Northbridge voltage to 1,2-1,3 if that is all that I need.
