    Standard Timing Control
    CAS Latency Time.....................5…: 5
    tRCD ...............................7 …: 5 << Maybe 4 - 4
    tRP'.................................7 …: 5 << maybe 4 - 4
    tRAS................................24…: 15 << maybe 12 (These maybe's are only because you are underclocking the ram right now) 13

    Advanced Timing Control
    tRRD......................................4….: (auto) 4 << Try 3 3
    tWTR..................................... 4….: (auto) 4 << try 3 3
    tWR...................................... 8….: (auto) 8 << try 4-7 7
    tRFC.....................................68..: (auto) 68 << try 62-65 65
    tRTP...................................... 4…: (auto) 4 << Maybe 3 4
    Command Rate (CMD) .......................0...: (auto) 2

    MCH Core…………….....1.100V..........: .1.300 V << Maybe 1.24-1.26 1.28

    i try your setting .. and this what i come up with .. the RED is what i able to set to ... only able to drop the MCH to 1.28 .... they Prime blend 8 hours stable now .. memtest 150% ... OCT 2 hours mix ...

    and with all this ... my latency go from 62.3 to 61.5 ... all the other ready is about the same .... i guess this is best what we can do..

    my next thing is 4.0 .... i will loosing the RAM timming up ... and figure
    Vcore = 1.4 - 1.45
    Vtt = 1.30 - 1.34 -- i think max i should go on this is 1.38
    Mch = 1.3- 1.45

    is that range okie ... any specific you can suggest and any other thing i need to change or might change to keep stable ???

    thanks for everything so far .. you are great

    Looks good for 8GB for sure! Nice an stable that is good to see as well.

    I would not change anything being as that is stable, now save that as a BIOS profile and name it and then start making some changes for your 4.0 overclock and go back and save that then you can switch between them anytime you want. On the MAIN page of the BIOS F11 is save, and F12 is load

    now off i go .. look like another sleepless night .. tire but fun ... will post update soon as i got little stable on 4.0

    Well you may be best off with just redoing the paste under your heatpipe. I would not use one of those on a board with heatpipes

    I'll go fix my post on the other thread as well. Just be sure to use NON Conductive paste when you redo it.

    hehehe .. in that case i'm not touching the MCH ....

    well i have good and bad new ...

    bad new... yesterday when i try to OC to 4ghz .... my stuck core on full load is 10-15 degree less than the lowest core ....

    good new .. to day i exchange for new CPU .. hehehe .. and the Vid on this even lower 1.1875 .. the last one was 1.2100.

    now the bad new again .... i will bother you some more.. hehehe ... have to start all my OC again ... hehehe ... this new chip seem like to require even more Vcore ... Vcore need 1.400 .. that was from 1.38125 ... the temp on this is new chip is about 6 degree hotter ... 34-36 instead of 27-29 idle .. but that maybe because the AS5 is not set in yet ... full load is 54-56 ... ( full load is about the same as last chip even those idle is higher)

    i'm just trying to tweak everything again and will post result soon ...

    my next question is with 4Ghz .... how high can i go on Vcore , Vtt , MCH and still safe with motherboard ??

    should i base my max temp on prime95, OCCT ??? because intelBurning test and Core damage the temp is way way too high .. i like to keep my max under 65-67 to be on the safe side.

    For 4GHz you may need 1.32-1.35 actual Vcore, not usually anymore.

    Keep Vtt under 1.38-1.4
    MCH 1.2-1.3, but you can go to 1.35+ but it is not often needed

    Ya, under 70 is good.

    You should have kept your old CPU, who cares if a sensor is stuck, you only need one to work at load anyway! HAHA

    Well, good luck I will see ya later I am on my way out the door

    that was my problem .... the load temp on stuck core was 10-15 degree lower than the next lowest core .... this is when i try to do 4gig .... it's worries me ... i was going to live with stuck sensor but in idle ... load and it's tuck ... i don't think that is a good thing ... new chip is okie ... no stuck sensor .. YEAHHHhhhhhh ...

    the Vcore 1.32 - 1.35 .... that be imposible for me .... with 3.8ghz .. setting is 1.4 and vdrop is 1.36

    when it was 1.38125 the Vdrop already 1.34

    i was thinking you mean Vcore = 1.42 -1.45 ????

    should i base my max temp on prime95, OCCT ??? because intelBurning test and Core damage the temp is way way too high . ????

    PS. Another thing i just notice .... in F5 bios .... the option for dual bios is gone... this was one stucking point for me to OC .. if i got trouble the back up bios will kick in

    Ahh, stuck at load too! Ouch!

    Ya, if you get 1.36 out of 1.4 in the BIOS and you need 1.38 then just set 1.42 in the BIOS

    Not sure about your temps because case airflow and ambients, but you should keep it under 70ish at load

    Backup BIOS will always be there, which setting do you mean? Some BIOS's do let you choose a "First" Recovery option like HPA or HDD, but either way you set that it would check both anyway it something failed
