Right I'll give small fft's a go. Will i need to increase the VTT too?

Temps are from the latest Coretemps.

Will increasing these make a difference?

    tRFC..................................: 52
    tRTP..................................: 3
    Command Rate (CMD) ...................: 2

Like i said 3.4 worked fine with these settings.

    Thanks again.

Nope likely no need to increase VTT probably you can have it as it was at 378MHz or 1 tick higher.
I'd leave those settings all auto.
3.4GHz was then now it's 3.6GHz. Maybe you want to do it at steps, 3.5GHz then 3.55 and finaly 3.6GHz.
    Timings(cycles) change with frequency.
Can you please attach the full CPU-Z text report?

Ok i tried small fft's using 1.4375 VCore and 1.3 VTT. 1 Thread failed straight away and with the other 3 threads going temps rose to 80c fairly quickly so i stopped it...

What CPU Cooler do you have, and what is the ambiant temperature?
VTT is likely not to be the issue, what SMM and advanced timings have you used?

CPU Cooler is a Corsair A50. Im using Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. Ambient temp is a fairly toasty 22c max when the heatings been on, its bloody freezing here in UK without it at the mo! :)

Ive got one 120mm fan drawing air in at the front and 2 x 80mm fans drawing the warm air that's passed through the A50 out the back. Also theres an open square window in the side panel just big enough for the A50 to protrude out of a bit because it was too tall for my case (Coolermaster Praetorian).

At work at the mo but i'll try the lower SMM (think it was 2.00D) with the higher Vcore (1.4375+) and a Static tRead of 8-10 when i get home.

Would you say 80c is a little high then? My current temps (3.4) are max 40c Idle - 70c Full Load? I could re-seat the A50 and try their own thermal compound i guess...

80c for for prime95 is very high.
    Whu not try 3.5GHz:
    289Mhz FSB
    SMM 2.4
    Static tRead 8
the rest as you had them at 3.4GHz except vcore.

Ok no worries. I'll change 'Clock Skew' to 0, what about 'MCH Skew'? Leave at 150?
