does anyone know when the voltage issue will be fixed..? does gigabyte even know about this problem? IE: z170x-gaming 5 on F4 i need +0.025v to be perfectly stable on i7 6700k (cpuz = 1.26v load prime95 28k fft), but on f5g (& all other bioses after F4) i need -0.045v for the same stability (cpuz 1.26v load prime95 28k fft), temps, & power draw..WHAT IS GIGABYTE DOING?? they are screwing with their bioses every time when will they realize what they are doing? every time i ALWAYS use the same settings, always LLC disabled. why is there such a HUGE voltage descriptively?!

WHY??! ASUS, MSI ETC ALL DONT DO THIS, ONLY GIGABYTE, & GIGABYTE CPU FAN CONTROL IS GARBAGE, I HAVE TO USE EITHER WINDOWS SOFTWARE, OR SYS FAN PINS TO KEEP REASONABLE CPU FAN SPEED..! 0.75% CPU FAN SPEED IS TOO HIGH GIVE US OPTION FOR 0.50 & 0.25% CPU FAN SPEEDS PLEASE!!!

    FIX THIS PLEASE!!!

OK I agree with these sentiments ^^. They have been like that for too long. So we would hope they have been working on that issue during this time since they have been made aware by many customers.

As for stability - I also had a stability issue but it was a different kind (random BSOD). That did not reveal in any benchmarking. I backed off my CPU clock by 88Mhz and problem went away.

As for voltages... I use the default auto-voltage. Because when I raised to fixed 1.3v there was no noticeable improvement or difference. So I can't imagine why you might need to lower the voltage to increase the stability.

    Hello Stasio,

Is the F6 Bios version listed in this thread the same as the release one for GA-z97Mx-Gaming 5?

    Thanks!

Am I the only one who has this? Do I have a faulty board?

As I stated, it's a problem in F6, F7b and even F7d, which means that I both reflashed and since flashing BIOS resets the settings, I cleared it as well. (unless you mean pushing the button on the motherboard to reset BIOS, which shouldn't provide something different than when flashing)
Can someone with this board disable Killer Ethernet, put the computer to sleep and then check if it re-appears in Device manager? (I'm using Win10)
