    just a heads up
the F21a beta bios for the X99 UD3P almost hard bricked my board
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...d=1#post503366

I'm back on the F2c beta bios

not sure what other peoples luck has been with it but I would avoid it
whoever at gigabyte who keeps releasing these buggy bios needs to be fired, I don't this there has been a bug free bios yet ...

Never got an answer to the question above, but just wondering now that F7g is released on the Gigabyte site for the Z170X Gaming-7 Board and has the fix for the intel processor issue, "Prime95 issue", will that be worked into the F7 stable version that will eventually be released?

I know that the stable versions come out after the Beta versions, but the letters at the end of the Beta BIOS name would suggest it is a later version. Since there are no release notes, its hard to make heads or tails if the stable versions contain what the beta version of it had for fixes.

    Thanks.

I have been lurking on the forum waiting for a response to this as well from your initial inquiry; There is a lack of detail for bios releases from Gigabyte and its difficult to determine which production releases have all the fixes included from the beta versions.

I own a z170 gaming 7 and i see that intel ME firmware included on latest beta bios is 11.0.0.1168 Consumer-H. Last version of this module is 11.0.0.1202 (3 versions was released since the version that use gigabyte). Could i have some problem if i update it?

stasio do u know (or could you ask) why gigabyte use the first release version of this module and still dont have updated it?

You can update with latest ,no problem.
More then 3 version of ME fw are released (and this is not first version..... ASRock and others still use 1166), I have no idea why.

    Edit:
ME fw first release (known) version is 11.0.0.1120.

thanks to share your knowlence, i was thinking only 3 versions was released and 1168 was the first release because on the page i have with intel me firmwares only 4 versions are linked to download and 1168 is the oldest.

I will update it manually with f7j and i will post if works as should. Thank you.
