F22a works well, the standby issue is fixed. Seems like the programmers have created a temporary workaround to prevent the bios from running into a error with 'Quit without saving': in F22a the PC shuts down and starts up again.

I'm going to try F22c too, as I see it just got posted.

Using either of the USB3.0 internal ports on the Z170-Gaming7, I'm getting no more than 38MB/sec (tried 3 USB3.0 devices). Using the same devices on the back of the motherboard gets me the full speed 100MB+/sec.
Gigabyte support thinks it may be either bad headers or bad mobo.
Can someone else test the internal headers (they are using a Renesas hub) and let me know if you get more than 40MB/sec or so?

Just tested, i get 86mb on read/write to usb 3.0 external disk, same as usb 3.0 on back.

    Hello.

    Z77X-UD4H here.
    F3a flashed.
Well... I have a problem with USB.
When too many USB devices are plugged in my keyboard doesn't power up.
It's a Roccat Ryos MK Pro (2 USB ports used).
Now after the boot process has completed everything is functional. However in early stages (grub2) USB power isn't sufficient enough to power the keyboard.
Also it happened with the old G15 from Logitech (1 USB), so it's not a keyboard issue.
It's an issue of the motherboard not handing out enough power to power the front USBs (and possibly also some backside).
And I believe this could be fixed with a software aka BIOS update.

Now I'd also like to know what the changes to the F3a BIOS actually are.
Seems like I bought a more expensive board but with less support than the other boards.

    Hello

I have Z97X-UD5H (rev. 1.1) and I'm on Bios F10 and my CPU is 4790k
    1- Will F11a benefit me
2- Does it add option to show HPET and disable it
3- I get this error "B(l or 1 not sure)InitializeLibrary Failed 0xc000009a" when I exit without saving, does F11a fix this issue

    Thanks

Tested my X99-SLI with F22e, and cannot enter BIOS/setup after the initial power unless I do a cold boot.

It will show "entering setup" after pressing delete, however it just boots.
I attempted using F12, and selecting setup and can't remember for certain but I believe it just sat there with a - cursor.
Reverted back to F21a, and do not have the above issue.

One more thing, F22e also gives a warning related to a PCIe resource issues, with my 40 lane CPU installed (5930k). Do not experience this in F21a, however I do have everyone but a single 1x slot populated (which shouldn't be an issue once divided down to assign proper lanes to each device, which is set to auto).

I'm using F6 on Z170-UD3, with ram that is on the QVL supported for 4 slots (Corsair LPX 2x8 2666 C16), with XMP it's however impossible to get stable boots.

The motherboard will POST at random with XMP on from cold boot, sometimes it POSTs, sometimes it doesn't and needs manual reboot, other times i get "overclocking failed", despite there is no cpu overclock. The XMP was supposed to be fixed, but it doesn't work at all, despite this memory is on the QVL.

Consistently errors in Memtest86, the memory is fine in 2 slots though, as well as single mode, all verified and working.

2133mhz is fine, and sometimes 2666mhz is fine too if you have a "lucky boot".

Tried XMP and manual advanced timings to the module's rated settings (16 16 18 35)

Have the best results when coming from a soft reboot (not cold start) after just changing the timings from higher to lower.

Is there any update to this coming up? Where can I best contact GIGABYTE about this bios issue?
