I could't find UUID using HWInfo64, searched an entire life, this app shows too many informations and I got lost, however I was able to see it using Gparted on Ubuntu 16.04. It seems to be ok, doesn't looks like a suspect number (like 000000... or something like that), and all my HD seems to be ok and working well. I retrieved MAC Adress just by replacing the value with hex editor, now everything works well

General size (frame) of BIOS is 16MB (16,777,216 bytes) ,but all 16MB is not used.

When F8o file is zipped ,you will get 6.2MB ,compare to previous Beta 4.5MB.
So,it's mean more functions are added in same frame of 16MB (hope you understand?).

    Btw,
new link for (unzipped) BIOS F8o:

Bit of an old one...but here we go :)

    I'm still rocking a Z68X-UD3P-B3, running BIOS F8, with an i5 (Sandy Bridge), O/'d to 4.5Ghz (liquid cooled-hot room).

I'm thinking of shunting an i7 in there, so that's a 2700K (Sandy Bridge) or 3770K (Ivy Bridge)...but I stumbled over the "max 39X multiplier" issue re: Ivy bridge and old AWARD BIOS...

I did dabble with the UEFI BIOS, but when I tried, it didn't have a screen to edit/amend my TPM (yes, I have one) - although Windows carried on working, it did mean "part" of my BIOS wasn't doing it's thing....

So - the questions are is:
    a) Does the F9A beta BIOS resolve/remove the 39X multiplier issue?
    b) What issues were there with F9A such that it got withdrawn?
    c) Does the latest UEFI (and still BETA) BIOS show TPM correctly?

    Cheers :)

I just flashed and played with new f8o bios for x170 gaming 7 and new frontend is awesome, now gygabyte bios have smart fan controller as users requested a lot of times and the modern look is a big plus vs asus bios that have it too. I was thiking gygabyte stop development on this motheboards focusing on new bios for x270 and is a great to know i was wrong. I hope they will update modules to last versions too.

I apologize for posting, but I had no luck with the search feature on this forum. I have a gigabyte z97x gaming 7 (currently running f8 bios) and would like to try gaming with hpet turned off. Is it possible to get a beta bios with the option to disable hpet for this motherboard?
