Yes, no resolution options in new BIOS.
The BIOS dashboard's resolution always 1024x768
Are you found "HD Smart Tweak option" in BIOS?
This mode give you 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Hey guys, I'm brand new to this forum and I joined specifically to post in this thread, so I'd be grateful if one of the pros here would be able to offer me some guidance.

I've been using my Phenom II 965 BE and my 7950 for the longest time until my 7950 died last week, so I figured it was time to upgrade everything. Naturally I went with Intel, got an i3-6100 after reading how easy it was to OC and get amazing performance out of it, and a Z170X-Gaming 5 mobo.

My question is, because it's been difficult to get definitive answers online is, which specific BIOS releases for this particular board have been proven to allow BCLK OC? I know there's a ton of beta BIOS versions floating around (F6f, F7c etc.), but the latest stable release is F5 that is posted on Gigabyte's website for the Z170X-Gaming 5. I've read mixed things about F5, some saying BCLK options are nonexistent, some saying they see it.

The whole point of me purchasing an i3-6100 was to be able to overclock it to nearly i5 levels of performance, so I would greatly appreciate if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction in terms of which specific BIOS version I should be looking at, including the beta versions which would allow BCLK OC?

    Thanks!
