This is on the Z170M-D3H results on the F8A latest beta.
Flashing went smooth and system stable.
Would like to report improvement on UEFI Boot entries not populating BIOS on every boot as in F7 BIOS. So sticking with the Beta until hit a hurdle.
On the F7 I could easily switch out the Splash logo using the ChangeLogo_v5 from AMI and it worked. But not so with F8A Beta. Something is wrong. I get the message "Invalid BIOS Image" every time. I tried both "end" key method as well as bootable disk and EFIFlash one with same results.
    Any help please?

Stasio linked me to the Gigabyte update page which has a USB 3.1 firmware updater for this board.

You would think that would be it, right? It even says "Thunderbolt FW Updater" when you actually run it and requires the Thunderbolt drivers. The ports even show up as Thunderbolt ports in the TB software as well.

Unfortunately this just updates USB 3.1 functionality partially and doesn't actually enable Thunderbolt. I spoke with Gigabyte tech support and they confirmed this with me. Other motherboards where they have officially enabled it though the release channel have a similar update titled "Thunderbolt Update" which enables the TB functionality fully.

That being said, they also didn't know about the beta BIOS which you posted, so I'm hoping you or someone else knows of a beta firmware version out there somewhere which would enable Thunderbolt on this board.

Dont use F7! I have recently updated and suddenly nothing worked right anymore. Overclocking became very unpredictable, nothing beyond 4.4GHz was stable anymore. Only one thing worked better: Undervolting. I could reduce VCore by 0.15V without problems, but 4.5GHz wasn't stable even with 1.34V (actual value 1.322V). With F6 I get bsods with -0.15V VCore but get the system stable with 4.5GHz@1.3V (actual value 1.284V).

AFAIK, the Thunderbolt/USB 3.1 firmware is not located inside the motherboard bios firmware, but on a separate Intel Alpine Ridge controller chip.
Whether the Thunderbolt firmware update procedure actually works seems to depend on which specific device driver has been installed.
Must be the Intel provided driver, and not the more recent Microsoft device driver, for the firmware update to actually function properly.
But: software that provides the ability afterwards to verify the exact firmware version is not available, AFAIK.
Adding to the confusion: there's 3 separate "utility" softwares on Gigabyte's support site for my board [which is the GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0)]:
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1151 - GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0)

    1. GIGABYTE Firmware Update Utility - B16.0302.1 - 2016/06/23
    2. @BIOS (100 series) - B16.0608.1 - 2016/06/23
    3. USB3.1 FW Update Tool - Firmware 16 - B16.0315.1 - 2016/03/15

    Drivers section (Windows 10 64-bit):
Thunderbolt Driver - 15.3.40.275 - 2016/02/19, which is several months outdated.

Running Windows 10 AU build 14393, the only Thunderbolt related device driver found in Device Manager is within the USB controllers:
    Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft) - v. 10.0.14393.0 - 2016/07/15.
With that MS driver installed, AFAIK: the firmware update function will not work correctly.

    Hello!

I see new beta bioses for my d3h motherboard.
Now I'm using F5c and going to OC non-k skylake 6400.

I realized that newer F6b cant OC bclk anymore, cant boot at all with it.
Which of these bioses still support non-k overclocking?
