I think most of the BIOSes could use an AHCI update.

We need new BIOS'es for the X58 motherboards!!

    Would like to see:

-Bugfixes , when vcore is set manually @ 1.13125v it goes to 1.18v after a few reboots
-Higher PCI-E frequency stable for higher overclocks. Current it doesn't go over 103Mhz (F8B bios)
-Improved RAM timings , when advanced RAM timings set on auto the values are set way too high. Lower please!

    I completely quote and add:
-And for not Elpida chip(ES my OCZ Platinum)...please, the QPI bug!!!
whit F8b I can not climb over 3.4 200x17, and if i set qpi and ioh on auto...this is my situation on 3,8ghx 200x18:

    Please release new bios!

Has anyone with a UD4P had any issues with o/cing using the latest bios?
I had been running bios 7e for quite a while at 3.6GHz but after updting to bios version 9a I cant get the same setting to boot - it simply just reboots and resets the settings to default.

I know I can revert back to the earlier bios but just wondered if anyone else has had any issues..

My settings as best as I can remember them are below - maybe I missed something.. I havent had chance to tweak all the settings but Im new to all this so as I said, maybe there is something obvious that I set incorrectly.. Any advice appreciated.

If you are overclocking you should not be depending on AUTO settings for the major ram timings. I wouldn't expect a fix for that. Mostly it tries to read the info programmed into your RAM module but some modules like the OCZ ram I have don't have correct profiles programmed in, so I manually set them.
