I just flashed to F6c for EX58-UD4 and it is booting fine with my previous overlock settings which did not worked with F6b. It also comes wtih AHCI 1.20E so booting is much faster.

Ghz modded F6a for me with AHCI 1.20E, RAID 8.8.0.1009 and Jmicron 1.07 and I hope the latest RAID and Jmicron ROM will be intergrated in the latest BIOS too. Anyone can post a link or guide to intergrate the latest ROMs into Gigabyte BIOS? Also where can I download those latest ROMs?

Moved to the f8e BIOS on the UD5 , did any of you have issues with USB keyboard not responding during bootup?

USB Keyboard works fine in BIOS and in Windows , but if u need to select the boot menu between different OS it doesn't work. I didn't have issues with older BIOS versions...

USB keyboard is behind a USB 2.0 self powered HUB.

Check to see if USB Storage Detect is disabled, try both ways as it could have been set differently in previous BIOS.

    Default F8E Bios for EX58-UD5

    Hi,

I have found issue when the USB storage (flash memory or HD) is formatted as GUID partition scheme, the bios screen will get stuck right after CPUID message. However, if the same drive is formatted as MBR partition scheme, it works fine. I recall F8B, this wasn't an issue.

    Thanks

    Patrick

Stasio, did you say few days ago that there is possibly another BIOS coming for EP45-UD3P? I am not entirely sure in the flow of posts here.

When we update to a new BIOS why do we lose the saved profiles? Is it just me ?

The BIOS should save the profiles no matter what since loading a profile is the easiest way to get started after updating to a new BIOS.

You should not use BIOS profiles from Previous BIOS, that is why. The BIOS are not the same, nor will the same settings always work.

When you flash your BIOS it is just like you just bought your PC, you may have to tweak it all over again as you may need more/less of one thing or everything
