Try this on newest UD5, set your uncore multi to 20, regardless of ram (as long as < 20) then set your vcore to < or = 1.2 (if you have a decent 1.18 or so normal vcore chip) then a nice healthy qpi 1.26-1.34. Bclk at 188 and everything ON, i mean everything! Perfect, low temps, less volts than the older bios's needed.

Great bios, still get the cold boot, but, everything else is working perfectly as far as i can tell.

I don't get it. When I look at the Gigabyte webpage there is a difference between the BIOSes for my P35-S3L depending on my motherboard revision number, in the post on page two this is not even mentioned, just one BIOS for that motherboard. What gives?????

I will ask about this now, maybe I can get a test beta BIOS for my board and post you some results. Then if all is well, and it is a good improvement and easily enabled/added I am sure they will get it added in the next round of BIOS's.

Thanks for pointing this out, looks very interesting and I can't wait to test how this goes. Seems to me from reading that info that this setting should have been included from day one

Hopefully I will be able to tell you guys tonight what I hear back about this. I'll keep you updated

Email requesting addition for testing sent

Well... me neither! Since we got our first kid 3 weeks ago my head seems to be in the closet. Maybe I should just stop posting for a while? You are obviously right.
