Thread: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS

I have the GA-EX58-UD4P with BIOS ver. F8. I'm using this motherboard on a Hackintosh dual boot system. The primary OS is Vista 64-bit and everything works fine, but on the OS X side the network fluctuates constantly in speed. This is a known issue, one I'm hoping has been resolved in an updated BIOS. Can anyone confirm this for me please?

hrmph... I noticed it just now. Thing is, I don't normally click First Page on long threads... teach me, huh? Is F10b good for rev 1.1? Also, the Gigabyte site didn't list F10b, It only showed F9c, iirc.

    F9 is the latest bios for the ep45-ud3p for versions 1.0 - 1.1. F10b is the latest beta bios for ud3p 1.0 - 1.1.

only ep45-ud3p version 1.6 has a different bios versions that are not interchangeable.

Just flashed to F10b. Question, will my saved profiles (Floppy) from F9 work on F10b?

Better to load the profile, write things down, then exit without saving and re-create using F10b. That's what I do.

You'll get a warning message that bad stuff may happen when loading profiles from previous versions. Probably because other settings not user changeable are stored in the profile, and may interact badly with the new BIOS.
