The bios for the GA-EP45C-UD3R - F5e does not show up on the Gigabyte website. I'm just wondering where you got it from.

Anything that has a letter proceeding it is a beta BIOS. Gigabyte sometimes lists them on their website but 9/10 they don't. Luckily we have a member here who has the "inside" scoop of their updates allowing us to get the newest ones even though they are not listed on the Gigabyte website.

Don't worry, I got the same thing. Just go back to F9c or whichever you were using before. I guess we have to wait for another BIOS update. :(

    Unhappy Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

    Hello,
    About new beta F8f

My system didnt work on 1600 mhz , below 8-8-8-20 till F8f come up.
After f8f it works fine on 1600 mhz 7-7-7-20 but i get 0x00000124 blue screen after 10 min. of prime95 stress test.I never get that blue screen till F8f.
Now i back to the official F7 bios , set the memory 8-8-8-24 1600 mhz
and do the prime95 test about 90 mins theres no blue screen or any other problem.

yes with F8f the cas delay decreased but not stable on my system i get the blue screen even if i set the parameters 8-8-8-24...

Try to increase QPI/VTT Voltage a bit. I think this should help you.

    The X-58 UD4P F9d

When USB keyboard and mouse function is enabled it still does not work. It is frustrating to have to look at the Windows 7 screen suggesting repair and you can not do anything about it except wait for the darn thing to tell me it could not fix it. As it needs any fixing anyway - omg.

    Could that please be fixed?

    Reverted back to F8

I think the core voltage of the cpu is too high. Try lower it down a bit!!
