Can someone mod RAID rom v8.9.0.1023 into a BIOS for me? (GA-EP45-UD3P)
Please use this BIOS : MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

The reason why I don't link to official Gigabyte server is because the BIOS I have is SLIC 2.1 modded too.

Does any bios after F8 for the EP45-U3DP board solve the S3 sleep issue?

I'm currently on F8 and it has issues resuming from S3 sleep. On my board it doesn't power cycle in an infinite loop, but it does "freeze" for about 3-4 minutes (in Windows), after which all the actions that I've performed like opening some programs/windows will only then show up.
How stable is your settings? Do you Defrag often?

I ask because sometimes 30 seconds or so my desktop (Aside from my mouse) is frozen, but other times longer if things are not as stable. Since you sat 3-4 minutes then you may have some stability issues or OS/Driver issues.

I've built the computer this weekend with the GA-EX58-UD5 and i7 920 step D0, and I had no problems for the mobo to detect the processor. It came with F7 BIOS preloaded, so i was prepared for that processor.
First of all I've upgraded to F8f BIOS, and then installed MSDN Windows 7. All seems to work fine, but I have only one minor problem. When I turn on the computer Windows 7 loads ok, but if I do a restart, it allways freezes just when Windows starts loading (black windows "Starting Windows"). I need to press Reset button and then Windows loads well.
May it be a BIOS problem that prevents Windows detect hardware after a soft reset, needing a hard reset?

Please make a new thread with your issues and specs, this sounds like you are simply not stable is all.

Not yet as I am finishing up a review on a set of Mushkins so I need to keep with the same BIOS. I will flash to it in a few days so I can do some Max Bandwidth runs for the final parts of my review though.

I am sure it is fine buddy, I'd have already flashed and been using it if it were not for the above mentioned info.

Let me know how you like it, and please do keep in mind your settings from Previous BIOS may or may not work so don't think because you need to re-tweak things the BIOS is bad.
