    Exclamation Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

Hey Stasio/LSD or anyone in the know, I have a small problem with the F10E Bios for the EP45-UD3P. The "PC Health Status" section at the bottom of the page GA-EP45-UD3P is missing an option to control the system fan via PWM/Voltage (in F9L it does have it) do you know if this is simply because it's a beta bios or is that option removed permanently if it is I ask for its return if possible as my Air Duct fan in my case is now only spinning at 1500RPM instead of 2000 and I can't control it with out the option.

Please PM me with this issue after August 31st and I will send in a report on it. I doubt they planned to remove it, likely just a bug they missed during testing.

Thanks for reporting, I will pass it along after the 31st

Concerning the problem on GA-EP45-UD3P as posted in post No.1592
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/giga...tml#post312036

    I have tried many things.

I installed previous to last and last drivers from Jmicron.
Interestedly the change log for the R1.17.50.02 driver (Jmicron 368 SATA ) states the lollowing:

    "R1.17.50.02 (TestDriver) (08/11/2009)
    - Enlarge status checking time after ComReset and enlarge driver timeout time with the HDD resume command
because some HDD would need more time to get ready after Disk Turn Off and Resume.
    - Fix issue that OS may not install driver of specifc SATA CD/DVD-Rom correctly when it is newly reported.
    - Modify driver to always re-enumerate connected devices after resume from sleep."

    So far the problem persist.
There is no problem what so ever with bios 10B.

    System Specs:
    GA-EP45-UD3P
    2x2 (4GB) rated speed 1100Mhz
7 HDs - 6 on ICH10 and 1 Seagate 1500GB on Jmicron plus a Docking station also on Jmicron but is empty.
    1200watt chieftec PSU
    2xDrives 5.25
Win7 x64 [ with Bios 10B no drivers are needed. In fact you have to force the Jmicron driver update (Have Disk method) ]
