I know this has been asked to death, but why is your latest BIOS newer than Gigabyte's latest Bios.
I downloaded an f7 bios from their site where as yours is f8b for the GA-EP45T-UD3P mobo.I just don't want to screw this up.Thanks......

The very latest BIOS's on here are beta versions, so they're pre-release. You can be pretty confident that they'll cause no harm though. They maybe aren't fully feature complete yet or contain some experimental code that could change in the final version, such as different AHCI versions etc.

You should be able to try F8b for your board without issue. Make sure to use QFlash rather than a Windows program and you'll no doubt be safe.

Really? Is S3 that important to users? J/K

So it was ok in F9c then? Is it working if EIST is enabled? Just checking to see if you tested that or not before you went back.

The CAS 4 issue on resume is Intel Chipset related and this will be resolved upon chipset revision. I read that in the change log a while back, just so you know before you also realize and report that as an issue. While I am not sure that CAS 4 is really loaded/used it is reported upon resume due to an issue within the chipset itself.

I will send in a report, but it will be a few weeks. You can forward the Bug to Janus, his email is in this thread 3-4 post

Likely just a big with CPU-z? I know 22 is possible with one core active, but not 8.

I have seen CPU-z error myself, once it showed my Blck as 289 and once as 350

See some info posted about this here by unclewebb, see post #26
EVGA X58 SLI Series Can Run X22 Ratio With Core i7 920 CPU

It can be done, by being at stock, enabling c3/c6 and turbo then waiting around for the incorrect CPU-z to pickup the fluctuations. I will do some testing later today with W3520 as I have to return it soon, I will post pics if I can get it to work with all 4 cores and HT.

Thanks for the image, not the ordinary bug for sure. Please pass that along to Janus, and remind me after the 31 and I will pass it along as well
