Please use the latest Version of Memtest86+ 2.11 >>>
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Then if you have issues it is your settings. And if that is the case, then please make a new thread with your full specs and settings, link in my signature for a BIOS template

    Yeah follow Lsdmeasaps recommendation.
I don't believe Mentest86 v3.5 version is Memtest86+ Yes download the + version. It will say Memtest86+ on your screen shot.

Yes that version is known to cause issues, sometimes it will not even go past 7% on most setups.

Please use Memtest86+ 2.11 linked above

But yes, you always will need to re-adjust things between versions. And since you are coming from a really old version you may need to make plenty of changes you do not expect.

The new BIOS's are much better, so don't give up on them so quickly
Thanks for your answer, sorry to have "invaded" the main thread

    After 2 days of tweaking:

    - I can't get back my previous overclock even with the F4 BIOS (didn't save it, so I used the one from Gigabyte's site). Which leaves 2 options : either it's not the same BIOS (doubtful) or my OC has become unstable with time (more likely).

    - So I tried using the 9a bios on my UD5, and finally I got similar results even if now 190 BCLK has become strictly impossible, no matter what I try

Just for fun, here are my previous and current parameters, they have NOTHING comparable ... I had to raise the QPI/Vtt, but vould lower voltage . In the end, temperatures are comparable

    Before: BCLK=190 ; Turbo = ON ; HT = OFF

    CPU Vcore = 1.425( HIGH !)
    QPI/Vtt voltage = 1.240
    IOH Core = 1.30
    QPI PLL = 1.140
    CPU PLL = 1.860

    Current: BCLK=185 ; Turbo = ON ; HT = ON

    CPU Vcore = 1.3375
    QPI/Vtt voltage = 1.380
    IOH Core = 1.30
    QPI PLL = 1.30
    CPU PLL = 1.80

Just for info, the CPU is able to take a BCLK=160 at stock voltage (impossible before) with same parameters.

Thanks for convincing the new BIOSes were worth it

Well it's no biggie, I just said that because we can better keep track of your specs and issues if you make your own thread.

So if you do need further help please do go ahead and make a new thread. 190+ Blck is for sure possible, you just may be missing something or not trying enough/or too much of something.
