    Graphical or sound?
if Sound, is it through the audio sockets or from inside the case.
if from the front audio sockets, you should route your front audio cable that goes to the mobo as far away from the gfx card as possable.

If its coming from your case, you should turn off any cpu energy saving features just incase its squeely chokes.

Thanks for the reply. At first I thought the interference was coming from my PSU but it most definitely is coming from the motherboard itself. The only way I could describe it as a very low static whine. My machine is on 24/7 so I'd prefer power management enabled. What I don't understand is why it would matter which BIOS is applied because it simply doesn't happen with F8.

ex58-ud4p f10d so far appears to be very good, at least on par with f9c, not sure what else has changed, the cpu temp was fixed in f9c and is fixed with this one. USB keyboard issue is resolved as well as the issues with s3 other than the cas being read as 4 although it clearly isn't really set to 4 after resuming from s3 which is intels fault with chipset.

Unfortunately this is a known issue with the Rev 1 UD5 Motherboards, its because your using a high end graphics card, somehow it causes a problem with the chokes on the motherboard, if you dont like the noise, you can't use C1/C3 etc.

Edit: try out a low spec graphics card, C1 will be quiet then, but if you have a high powered graphics card, the chokes will squeel with C1 and C3 and all those features.
