Got my EP45-DS3R updated from F11c to F11d, Q-Flash doesn't work, there's a workaround, if you are in F11c, you should downgrade to F11a, then F10, and finally you may upgrade directly to F11d.

But i did the fastest way, grabing a USB Flash Disk, make it bootable, and drag'n drop the F11d package contents directly on USB FDD.
Set mobo to boot from my FDD and all done, a simple autoexec.bat bundled FTW.

And then, my comments, i haven't seen any improvement yet, AHCI Bios still on the Jurassic 1.07, XMP+Smart Fan hasn't been fixed yet.

And waking up from sleep still broken for 65nm processors, like me, i tested a Q9650 on my motherboard, and resumed just fine. But it's another story, maybe is a design flaw from Intel.

It would be nice if they add a Load Line Calibration option just like UD3 series, but... it would be possible?

I'll stay tuned, perhaps AHCI Bios finally gets updated

Is the F4m for the P55-UD4P newer than F4p?

I would think F4p would be newer since p comes after m in the alphabet. I can't seem top find this info.
    P55-UD4P - i7860 - Patriot Inferno 120GB SSD - 1600Mhz Mushkin 7-8-7-20 - 3 WD 640GB Black

Hi Nate its madMax2911, I had the "Jurasic Intel AHCI (BIOS?) ver1.06" and now I see I have Intel Ver. 1.20E after updating my main BIOS. I have seen other changes in the BIOS and will comment on them after research on web. I did see a mention of XMP in the RAID AHCI section of main BIOS, but that is for RAID arrays right?

Is that S3 sleep me thinks or S1?

This has always been disabled in my BIOS Is there a benefit that I do not know about?

I am just learning this but XMP is a profile for your memory. It's not for RAID.

S3 or S1 is just personal preference. Determines how deeply it sleeps.

If you are OCing, Load line calibration is best enabled.

    Hope this helps.

Actually I went back in BIOS and saw it in the Integrated Periferals Section then scroll down to the first entry. It says ICH SATA Control Mode = with options of IDE, RAID(XHD) and AHCI (which I am using now=AHCI). I also saw XMP in the Memory section as you stated but it appeared only after I updated to latest F5 from Gigabyte. Its also present in the F7 BIOS that I am using now. Here is my thread If anyone needs help with a GA-EP45-UD3LR Board version 1.0 http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/ep45...message-34001/

    Thanks for the info Dude

No problem man. I hope you can help me if i need it.

I am still wondering if the latest BIOS will be here, or on the Gigabyte website. Does anyone know. I assume it would be here but the one for the P55-UD4P sure looks older than the one on the Gigabyte site.

Sorry about the delay I was updating my post material and setting BIOS.
From what Lsdmeasap said that sometimes they update the BIOS versions with various fixes and still call them the same number. we discussed it here in this link about halfway down the page.
http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/ep45...01/index3.html This thread has all the latest BIOS version numbers listed at the beginning. Or you can start a thread and wait for help like all the rest. Sometimes Lsdme can get you the BETA BIOS versions or show you where they are located. The only way to find out if its newer is to try flashing and see if it helps or if you notice any changes in the BIOS, like I mentioned earlier in this thread. But make sure to load optimised defaults after you flash your BIOS. Then set your ram volts and then save and roboot back to BIOS. If you run RAID or AHCI drives the set all the values needed. and save and reboot to windows.
