not a huge problem i know, but it just bugs me when i know the bios engineers can fix it
    Hi GHz,

Do you have 12 GB Memory?
    What Bios are you using?
    Running at 200X20 FSB?

    Thanks for the input!

I have my PC connected via the APC BX1500LCD and so far it's been running 245W idle(w/monitor). Running F10h BIOS brought it down to 205-217W (seems to oscillate a lot more than before, but still quite a bit less than b4)
My CPU temps are also way lower...I used to idle at close to 50C, but now it's only 33-38C
Load wattage and temps are the same as b4.

    Thanks for your response GHz,

When we go to 12GB from 6GB Memory we have to go back to 1200 to boot.
It simply will not go past the 1200 setting.

We have stuck to the UD5 Bios all along. When going to Sleep it just craps out and Bluscreens often when going down. Will try the Extreme F9h one.

Only other avenue here is to now try the SSD in our new i5 SYS to see if it may be the problem..

    Thanks again.

    Hi GHz,

    Have a TITAN 128GB SSD in Win7 X64.
Did Memory testing and also the memory in Q is running great in the i5.
And now so is the TITAN, it"s sleeping well in the i5!!

Beginning to like this little i5 setup a lot...snappy indeed.
Modified a Therm Extreme Cooler to fit and it's running at 42c (<:
    Thanks for the great suggestions.

Why was EX58-UD4P F10h removed? It fixed the wrong CPU temp, other than that did nothing. It fixed a problem..

Would be really interested in a ga-ep45-dq6 bios update addressing s3 sleep at overclocks past 400mhz fsb

Interesting, ANOTHER BIOS removed - ex58 -UD3R F8g , anybody know why ? I was actually able to pass 25 runs IBT 16 threads custom 4.5gb RAM with 2 notches less vcore , before it would fail after 3 passes same settings on BIOS F8d.
