    Woah! curb the attitude please.

Stasio isn't your, or anyone else's "BIOS B1tch" you know. He's not a Gigabyte employee and is under no obligation to give you anything. He posts here in his own free time as a favour to us all.

Excuse me? This is no way to correspond to someone who is doing this on their own behalf. If you are too lazy to fix it on your own then do not come here and be rude to people that help. Me having to edit your posts is wasting MY time and any further need of my time to edit any of your posts will get you a vacation.

    Hi stasio,
Is there a bios being worked on currently or do you know if this is a known issue?:

On the EP45 and G31 Series, by default with the Legacy storage detect feature on, some usb card readers will cause the system to restart cycle or lockup at the detecting ata device section of POST.

Do you happen to know if this is a known issue by gigabyte. Ive found with the very many gigabyte based systems i assemble that this problem is much more apparent with the newer P45 and G31M series motherboards, where as motherboards of the first revision dont suffer the issue.

Maybe it can be replicated, a Rev 2.0 G31M-ES2L (and probably a G41M) with a Sony MRW620-U1 internal card reader will have trouble to post if the card reader is attached to the system while the bios is set to its defaults (having legacy storage detect enabled).

I was planning on addressing this to my countries GIGABYTE FAE staff, but may not need to if the issue is already known. :)

This seems to be a bios issue since ive had some (particularly the G31M-ES2L rev2) motherboard models which with the earlier bios (FA for example) were unaffected until using newer stock with FB bios.

other models i have found this problem to be on are the EP45-UD3R and the EP45-UD3LR motherboards.

BIOS can be modified by Modbin6 (enable/disable,unhide functions) before you flash, for EP45 boards and series bellow.
    Rename your BIOS to Fxx.bin
I just check BIOS F11 for UD3R and from enable set to disable.

    Hope,GBT know this issue.
    Note:
Not applicable for EX58 and P55.
