K, I just wondered where you found it is all.

You are using Ganged mode right? Setting your own NB Vid and NB Voltages? Just checking, I don't have much AMD Knowledge but I do know you will need to set these things manually for 4GB

CPU Core option is likely the hybrid mode that allows certain chips to use unlocked cores.

Ganged is for dual channel, not unganged. Please change that.

Do you also have a NB Voltage as well as NB Vid? Yes NB Voltage would need increased as well as NB Vid. And likely NB Freq as well. Do you have a thread? If so, please PM member artdrivers as he can help with AMD Much more than I can.

If not, please do try that as sometimes it is needed.

I will test a BIOS for you later tonight, likely F9h and I will let you know what I find

The issue would not be present to you with a 920 CPU as the multiplier will not go above 21 anyway.

I knew 920 users were ok with F9h and I thought F9k as well, I think this only affects users with higher available CPU multipliers such as 24-64

I tested F9h with 965 CPU and could only set the stock 24/25 mutipliers and could not set anything above as I should have been able to.

I did send in a report on this issue, so it should be corrected in the next set of Beta's.

i originaly had a patriot blade series 4gb kit, the PDC34G1333LLK, tried every setting but never get the kit to work on dual channel. then later found out the kit is for intel and i should get the amd version, the PDC34G1333LLKA. but local store doesn't have it, so i upgraded to the ocz gold amd edition 4gb kit, the OCZ3G1333LVAM4GK. but still can't get it to work on dual channel. so i figure it might be the bios setting

Yes, unganged is best for use with single channel and ganged is advised for dual channel.
    Ganged vs. Unganged Mode - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

They are both actually dual channel in regards to how things work, but you want to use ganged for dual channel.
