The F9L/F10B(D, I think as well) Bios's and below definitely had it, just like the CPU fan the System fan could be set to Enabled/Disabled/Auto and set to PWM or Voltage control.

If you need me to load back up one of them and take a picture let me know!

I don't need a picture for proof or anything, but yes please do check which older ones had it and then the new ones that do not and let me know. Then next email I send in I will report the issue and see about getting it corrected.

You can also submit a case as well instead of waiting on me, maybe they could get the issue sent into the BIOS team right away >>

I tried F9L, F9 Final and F10E, only F9L Beta had the option the others did not.

What about previous finals? F9l was likely a bug''d BIOS as your manual does not show this as an option for that model either.

So it does not support it really, they may have disabled some other sensor or items to enable it for testing in F9l, or it could have just been there as a fluke and should not have been.

Hmm, that's a good point, you're probably right now that I think of it lol. I'll try F4-F8 and let you know, but as you said since it's not in the manual it's probably a fluke.

with bios FD8 x58 UD3R 1.6, when restarting PC, and instantly opening CPU-Z it won't show the idle speed multi x12 [speedstep enabled] but it show the low idle vcore only , it will just show full speed 21x multi for like 2 minutes and the vcore showing idle volt and CPU Usage is 0%, but CORETEMP and CPUTweaker show the correct speed after reboot fine, so maybe cpu-z bug?
I have 21x multi chosen manually in bios.

Ya, sounds like a CPU-z issue then.. Nothing to worry about anyway though

I see that F9j for GA-EX58-UD5 updates RAID ROM to 8.9.1.1002, what fixes have been added to F9k?
