Indeed. You can be assured that all FW posted here is OK to use. It MAY present some minor bugs but will not break a system.

AHCI 1.20E is definitely worth having too. It (for me) speeds up detection time by 4-5 seconds. Say good bye to the scrolling " ... " before detection, everything happens instantly, with only 2-4 drives connected at least.

On my earlier MB , EP35-DS3 I always used @BIOS and it worked fine. Another question : I've got 2x320GB in RAID 0 on ICH10R. Will new BIOS affect RAID array?

    Very true. Thanks!

I figured my on-board NIC was toast and out of warranty and never bothered.
After reading the above I tried it and BAM! I'm whole again.

    PLEASE DO NOT USE @BIOS!

Someday you will have to learn the hard way if you keep thinking like that, no offense meant but please take heed to warning as they are not made for no reason.

Your RAID will be fine if you update, Please see the guide here I posted step by step procedure in a image on how to safely update with RAID (Toward the end of post #1, just above the making a bootable USB section >>

Edit: tryed with 5 diferent usb-drives and non work tryd fat 16-32-nfts? the usb-stick from my brother used to work (flashed all my bios with it -> usb fat 32), but he isnt home so i cant test it.

I'm having some strange issue flashing to the new beta BIOS (F9k) on my EX58-UD5. I've never had this issue.

I followed all the steps correctly and just tried flashing from F6e to F9k and Q-Flash says "Invalid BIOS file." I tried flashing to the F9e BIOS from Gigabyte's website and it says the same thing.

I also tried to flash with FLASHSPI and it says cannot read BIOS file successfully.

    What to do?
