    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-P55M-UD2 (rev. 1.0)

The only change listed is "Support EuP Lot 6 function (for rev 1.1 only)". I'm probably being overly cautious, but why does this say "for rev 1.1 only"? Should I not apply it to a rev 1.0 board? Also, can anyone explain to me what "Support EuP Lot 6 function" means?

    Thanks.
I would like to know about this also. Thanks and happy new year.

I have some problems with all X58 UD5 biosses after F7.

Today i redit all my tests with the latest F9M Bios. and i see the same problems that i have with the F8 and the F8 beta's

And i have isolated the problem. What i did:

Flashed the bios in dos with the autoexec.bat. Loaded optimal settings. Left everything stock. System booted:
Then set Uncore Multi 20x = System boots (default)
Then set Uncore Multi 19x = System fails and resets bios
Then set Uncore Multi 18x = System fails and resets bios
Then set Uncore Multi 17x = System fails and resets bios (i used 24/7 on the F7 bios)
Then set Uncore Multi 16x = System fails and resets bios
Then set Uncore Multi 21x = System boots
Then set Uncore Multi 22x = System boots

So it seems everything below stock is locked. And everything above works fine. But i'm running 195 QPI so with 20x muli my Uncore would be 3.9 GHz and i cant get that stable.

I have this problem with all BIOS version from F8 and higher. F6 and F7 work fine.

Is there anything you know about this ?

    Thanks In Advance

EuP Lot 6 is a standard for reduced power consumption in idle mode. It does seem confusing as the F6 bios states its for revision 1.1 and the product page is for revision 1.0 of the P55M-UD2. Version 1.1 does have the EuP feature.

    Talking es58-ud4p - bios f10k...

First, i wish you a happy new year

dynamic Vcore works fine w/ my ud4p... it's magic ...

    1.2625v for 4Ghz full, 1.06v idle... wonderfull !

There's just a question: since i've upgraded my bios, when my pc is on, the power led is blinking, before that, it was always on ... is itnormal or not ?

altrough, is there a tip for disabling bouble-boot if Bclk is fixed ??? it would be great

    hi !

    Hi all.
Sorry, but ┐how to configure Dinamic Vcore? ┐We must use C3/C6/C7 on bios?

    Thanks.

go to the "advanced voltage..." page...
    set your vcore on "normal"
Dynamic Vcore will be enabled, set the value you want. (1.2625-1.1375=0.125v for me)
go to the "advanced cpu..." page
    enable all energy features (eist+tm+c3-c5-c6)
    disable c1e
    save and quit bios...
    reboot
go to the bios again, and verify that stock Vcore has not change.
if so, compute and set again Dynamic Vcore.
    save and quit, that's all

ps: sorry for my poor english :)
