    the UD3P can control fans , i also dont know why there isnt a option in the bios (in speed fan you can go to advanced and have to set a parameter of the chip from on/off to software controlled , or smart guardian the first one is the cpu (so best to leave that one alone 2 and 3 are configurable)
    -> PWM 1 mode : SmartGuardian <- this is the cpu port (smartgurdian is for auto cpu fan control)
    -> PWM 2 mode : ON/OFF <-- set to software controlled
    -> PWM 3 mode : ON/OFF <-- set to software controlled
    i have successfully been able to control the fan (4pin connector, by the ide port) (front case fans), i haven't been able to get the back fans to control though and i haven't tested the port by the ATX connecter, it could just be a limitation of the current speedfan, or the system, but i do know some of the ports do have controls., most likely the ones hooked to the IT8718F chip

    Been testing the EX58 Extreme Bios F5c and seems to still not let you restart from windows it always hangs and needs a hard reset,
    This still only happens when extreme overclocking,
    Core920(196x21) HTenabled and turbo enabled@1.5025v in bios 1.48v in windows.

    Thanks, but why is that needed? I mean, why the last version isn't by default inserted on the official beta bios?
