I apologize if this has been answered before. What is the purpose of the MOD bioses that are posted by sirioo soon after each beta bios is posted?

There is a reference to Intel RAID v9.6.0.1014 and a Realtek PCIe controller driver. Couldn't/shouldn't these be installed separately and independently of the bios version being used?

These mod's use the latest PCI ROM's in the BIOS, this is not something a normal end user would install as you actually have to modify the BIOS to do so. The old ROM's are removed and replaced with new ROM's.

The purpose is simply to have the latest is all, while that is not always good it generally is so Sirioo updates them for everyone

That is all up to you, many people do use them. They may VOID your warranty though should something go wrong with your flash and you cannot recover, because this is a end user modified BIOS, so please use proper saftey precautions when flashing - as always.
