What's the story with updates for the GA-H55M-S2H? The latest BIOS on the Gigabyte website is F5 and dated 2010/02/12. I found F6m here, but it was hidden and wasn't easy to find.

When I checked, every other P55 or H55 board had an update in April and again in June. Is this board a low priority within Gigabyte?

nope, low priority are amd boards... 6+ months for updates are nothing special...

    CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @3.5ghz - H2O
    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P (BIOS: F8k)
    RAM: OCZ3P1600LVAM4GK (1000mhz@1.7v)
    GPU: Gigabyte 9800GTX (800-1200-1800)
    PSU: Corsair CMPSU-650TXEU (650W)

The latest Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P BIOS just fixed this issue, suggesting the 790FX board will get a fix as well.

From a post I made on overclock.net about the new GA-MA790XT-UD4P F8F BIOS:

I just thoroughly tested out this BIOS and this is what I found:
    - During POST, "memory information" now displays the correct memory speed (i.e. if your memory multiplier is x5.33 which would nominally show DDR3-1066, at 302FSB x 5.33 it should now say the correct 1609mhz).
    - New hidden options when pressing Ctrl+F1
    - In the "Advanced BIOS options" screen:
    - Boot-up floppy seek
    - Boot-up numlock
    - Delay for HDD (Secs)
    - In the "Memory timings" screen:
    - DQS Training Control (Skip or perform)
    - CKE Power Down
    - Memlock tri-stating
    - Bank Swizzle Mode
And this would I think be the most important thing of the new BIOS:
    - Restart issues when using the x7 or x8 northbridge multipliers have been fixed.
    - Restarts using both NB multipliers were tested using restarts after saving & exiting the BIOS, exiting the BIOS without saving, and restarting from Windows.
    - People using older BIOS's may have the issue of getting a string of restarts after exiting the BIOS without saving (or ocassionaly, after saving), and restarting from Windows, when running on a high FSB with northbridge multipliers x7 or x8. People with this issue do not get this problem during cold boots.
    - Gigabyte still has not fixed the "core temperatures" being 10-12 degrees lower than actual temperatures on the 1055T, but the "CPU temperature" is pretty much the same thing so it's not a huge problem.
    Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P F8F BIOS: Approved
    Phenom II x6 1055T @ 4.05Ghz
    GA-MA790XT-UD4P (F8E), Northbridge @ 2700Mhz
    Mushkin 996629 DDR3-1600 @ 1200mhz 5-5-5-15 (unstable 1600, BIOS problems?)
    BFG GTS 250 800/1890/2666, Intel X-25M 80GB + WD 1TB Black,
    Xigmatek S-1283V Dark Knight (MX-3)

CPu temp is not a GBT problem mate......it's the crappy temp controllers on AMD chips...it's odd though but they vary a bit from board to board however AMD temps underreport temps which i dont like because people dont really know the true temps imo

Hello everyone, in earlier posts I described how I couldn't change mem times in bios but that was ok...but now after flashing to f7 I can't O/C cpu manually either...I can use easytune6 to up it but not where I had it before..when I try to manually put in my numbers it pops up with "please reboot to bla bla bla", but it reverts back to its own settings within two or three seconds. I wasn't planning on spending my entire evening on this project (actually none of it) and yes I still can't adj mem times either...I have the GA-H57M-USB3 board with I3 and 4 gig of Rip Jaw 12800...any help would be appreciated...maybe I will have time for a snack before bed lol
