Does this apply for all boards?

I just updated a EX58A-UD7 (1.0) bios from F6 to F7v using Q-flash without doing anything about this DMI data setting. After loading Optimized Defaults, a system blue screen error occurred when Windows 7 tried to start. After rebooting system, everything seems OK and bios F7v is showing as having loaded.

Should this DMI setting be disabled before all Q-flash bios updates? Where do I find the setting to change? Must the setting be re-enabled after bios update?

it isnt essential, but its advised to clear the dmi before you flash to a new bios, usually you will see a box pop up in q-flash with a tick in it,just untick the keep dmi pool data and then flash

yes it applies to all boards

    OK, thanks wazza 300.

I am now seeing the boot up pause while stating that it is "verifying DMI pool data" and a series of dots appear for about 10 seconds or so. This never happened before. Is this to be expected all the time now? Would this be occurring if I had cleared the DMI data while flashing in Q-flash?

I have Logitech G15 keyboard and Lsdmeasap informed me in one of his previous posts that not all F7... releases support the Logitech G11/15 usb keyboards.

So I was wondering if anybody with Logitech G15, or G11 keyboard has used successfully the F7v bios. Any ideas of whats new in F7v?

    Thanks a lot!
