What's the best bios for Extreme with 920 C0? I have been using F6h for a long time and would like to know whether there is a better choice.

Latest is always the best IMO, unless you see some issues mentioned you should always use the latest as they always have the most performance enhancements and fixes.

Your old settings will not always work, so be ready to tweak things a bit again.

This is normal, so don't flash and then decide in a day that it "Sucks" and you don't like the new BIOS because it doesn't work with your old settings, you will have to re-tune things again is all.

    Hi all,
I just wondered if anyone with an overclocked X58 UD4P has tried the latest bios (14K).
I've been using F11 for quite some time now (its been fine) and updated to F14K last week.

The pc crashed twice when I used my original o/c settings for 3.7Ghz. I know its normal to have to tweak settings after flashing the bios but wondered if anyone has any ideas what in particular could be causing the instability. Presumably F14K does things a little differently. I did like the new menu system though!

1.35v seems alot for cpu@3.7ghz,tried lowering it? and set Uncore Frequency .......................... 14 to 13x,take alook at my 3.8ghz template and try if you want, just adjust memory for 1440mhz and uncore is twice ram multiplier then add one to it so 8x=16=1=17x and so on,if rams rated at 1.65v set to 1.66 in bios for 1.5v ram set to 1.52v in bios

I sent in a report using this link. We'll see if it gets addressed. Now that I know a workaround (using fullscreen logo enabled) it isn't such a big deal.
