FWIW, I just tried to update the BIOS of my EP45-UD3P V1.1 from 10 to 11b and it failed miserably....so much so the machine just had boot loops. Never initialized video or keyboard. Machine recovered by disconnecting all drives except the optical reader, loading the utility CD and booting. That got me to the BIOS splash screen and from there I could enter Q-Flash and reload F10 from a USB key. All well now, but I haven't tried F11b again as of yet.

I guess they don't call 'em betas for nothing. You all be careful out there.

Did you follow this guide when flashing?

Also your setting they may have been stable with F10 may not work in F11b. Should always be prepared to make changes to get stable.

I can confirm that F11b is indeed a failure for the EP45-UD3P V1.1 MB. It might be a good idea to pull this particular BIOS from the download page for now.

Followed the guide (always!) and all BIOS settings were stock/default. I do set my voltages manually, but to default values.

    Lightbulb Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

I'd just like to chime in and also report that F11B caused me nothing but troubles on my Rev 1.0 EP45-UD3P. I had to pull out the bios battery to even get the bios screen to appear and luckily I could reflash back to F10 final.
