What keyboard are you using? Have you cleared the DMI pool via disabling Keep DMI Data in Qflash during/before your flash?

Did you test the top most USB port?

I haven't tested F7 yet, but USB issues were supposed to have been corrected and support added back after F7u, and I haven't had any issues with F7u or F7x. I'll test F7 for you later tonight, with G11 and MS Ergo 4000, both of which had issues with certain BIOSes in the F7 beta's as they removed USB Support on some of them in the middle of F7a-F7u

Hmm, sounds like a test is in order, but I don't have high hopes for 9128 as a RAID Controller

FA bios doesn't have this problems but it sometimes detects all 6GB of RAM, but mostly only 4GB.
Sounds to me like you have either bent pins or you have just not tried the right amount of uncore and or QPI/Vtt voltages. Have you had anyone help you with settings yet? If not please make a thread with your full specs and settings and we'll try to help you out.

Also, if you don't mind can you please take a few images of your CPU socket from different angles under good lighting, use Macro if your camera has it and don't use flash just a well lit room.

just updated the bios to this GA-X58A-UD5 (2.x) - FB from the original.... Not happy Overclock is screwed, noticed it has massive vdrop in cpu-z. Normally it sat at 1.248 and in bios it was 1.2650. Now it sits at 1.216 and BSOD.

What to do increase or go back to original bios?

Ok Load line calibration now has AUTO setting, previously I just had it on standard with the old original bios which now gave me a huge vdrop. So I left it on Auto and it's perfect back to 1.248.

I have F7w and works just perfect (+G15 keyboard). Could you please tell us how F7 performs in UD7 rev.1 (when you test it)?

    Thanks!

    Woooo, happy.

Well had to go to work in bad mood, as pc not working as you know.

    Came home now, still faulty....

Then went to F6 like before, reset bios to defaults etc etc.

Cant believe it, now workling , but also usb keyboard now working on getting to bios (fingers crossed).

So am scared now to update back to F7 now its all working again.

What i hate most, now if it dont work,l can usually live with most things, but the fact that i dont know what the fault was ,. is killing me...

Sorry, I've been so busy this week! I didn't get to test it last night, but will for sure this weekend.

Using F7x now without issue, same as you using F7w, I think all USB issues were corrected from F7u onwards

You must ask JZ,as many german forum say he like(always)hide BIOS,even Gigabyte is WORLD international company...........!
    http://mbforum.gigabyte.de/index.php...8995#post18995
    Code:
official fix from the the norwegian support for the X48-DQ6
it is newer than JZ reputed secret special version
    http://ggts.gigabyte.eu/FileList/969315/x48dq6.f8h
    date 8/27/2010
Norwegian guy got new BIOS for X48-DQ6 and JZ put strait same BIOS to DL.
I read a lot from they forum and is shame for JZ,if he got shame any more.

    BTW,
