I'd like to report a bug. Although, I'm not sure if it's a bug of the latest beta BIOS as I use the latest stable version.

    EX58-UD5 F12

I bought a Corsair Voyager Mini 16GB and if I leave it plugged in any USB port then the system:
A: will freeze entirely during POST if the flash drive is exFAT.
B: will freeze for ~10 seconds on POST if the flash drive is NTFS.

I'm positive this is only the 16GB model problem, because I used to have that 8GB Mini stick and that one didn't cause such problems.

EDIT: To be precise, the freezing point (in both cases) is the moment when it writes something like 'CPUID 0x000... Patch 0x000...' or something and then it should write 'Memory Status... OK', except it doesn't.

    Oh dear.

    I guess I will just leave GA-P55-UD3 - F10a alone for now.

You are small dealer in Germany, keep this in your mind.!
I never, ever make the money from my posts!
    BTW,

    ps.: bin sauer

    Unhappy Re: Gigabyte Latest BIOS

Just updated my GA-X58A-UD7 to the new F7 bios from F7x (beta) and had to up the vcore by a couple of notches to maintain current o/c, anybody else had to do this?

Also, has anybody tried the 'Auto' setting in LLC?

Do you have Legacy USB Storage Control enabled in the BIOS? It may be also called USB Storage, or Legacy Storage, ect.

Try with it enabled or disabled if you do not need to boot to USB in DOS.

Yes I have contacts there, I'll see when they plan to correct this for X48 BIOS. You could crossflash to DQ6 :)

Only using Level 1 LLC here, no issues I noticed with F7, but I didn't use it very long (Only for a short test) - back on F7x now
